To help regional tourism stakeholders retain customers and build new audiences for your businesses while we hunker down and continue with physical distancing, Explorers’ Edge will host, TWO MARKETING WEBINARS on FRIDAY, APRIL 10, 2020
“Things will get worse before they get better.” We’ve heard this a lot over the past few weeks. But as dire as this sounds, it’s also cause for hope – because things will get better.
So while others are scaling back, savvy, forward thinking operators will see an opportunity to invest now with the expectation of a return over the long term. With tourism advertising all but suspended, there is a void to be filled provided you do it with sensitivity and tact.
We are a few weeks into our Covid-19 response and we now better understand federal and provincial initiatives intended to help our industry (including today’s federal announcement to increase support for SMEs).
Our team has developed an organic content initiative entitled “Campfire Comfort: Tales from Cottage Country”, which will be posts to our domestic and international FB pages that are stories from our region, as told by RTO12 staff or regional tourism stakeholders.
