    What paid media should we be using?

    I am 60%/40% FB to Google Adwords. My concern about FB is the user is not as far into the purchase decision as is a Googler of “Summer Cottage Rentals”. So a Google CPC is worth more to me than a FB CPC Your comment…

    Would you then recommend that we use more of an ad on FB that is actually selling vs just advertising the popular moose image?

    There is really no rule of thumb for how you allocate your spending. The allocation is a function of your objectives: if direct sales is your objective (versus creating awareness), then Google AdWords is the way to go.

    BTW overtly sales-y posts on Facebook are discouraged – they simply don’t get great engagement.
